The role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join and grow our Payment Partner Solutions team. In this role, you will have two main responsibilities;

  • Ensure excellent software project deliveries & continuous services to our Payment Service Provider customers
  • Support our DevOps team to achieve their very best

What do we actually do and deliver?

We develop & deliver payment software and related services for international Payment Service Providers (PSPs), in the Shopify ecosystem. Our current payment solution contains our serverless PSP Middleware product, project deliveries, and continuous services for additional SW development, customer support and cloud based hosting.

Usually we start customer cooperation with the adaptation project and move smoothly to continuous services mode. We work in a DevOps mode, and we have developed & delivered several payment solutions with high customer satisfaction rates. The team is highly experienced and talented, and we aim for continuous improvement and a high level of automation. Location: Finland

This position is available for applicants already residing in Finland. We offer remote and office working, you can choose whichever suits you best. We have offices in Jyväskylä, Tampere and Helsinki to meet & greet with colleagues in person. We work flexibly, with members collaborating both in our offices and remotely. We ensure you have the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Tasks & expectations

In this Technical Project Manager’s role you are expected to;

  • Manage development projects & feature releases, from planning to delivery & maintenance
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any potential roadblocks with the team
  • Monitor team’s development progress vs. estimates
  • Create and present customer reporting
  • Conduct status & planning meetings with customers, gather hopes and create requirements
  • Provide technical and operational support to customers
  • Have an eye for additional customer value and have an upselling attitude
  • Participate in new sales cases
  • Follow changes in Shopify platform, pickup payment specific topics
  • Maintain development plans and inform customers on new platform features which could improve their business possibilities
  • Develop development processes and tools with the team and customers
  • Innovate for the future (e.g. our new SaaS based service model is currently under planning)
  • Share your ideas and knowledge with your new and talented colleagues

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a project management with international customers
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably as a SW Designer, including understanding of SW processes, tools and people
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or in a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Finnish, Swedish would be a bonus
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach
  • Desire to support team members, to help the whole team achieve our goals.
  • Desire to help customers succeed in their businesses.
  • Experience with Fintech and/or Shopify ecosystem would be a plus
  • Current residence in Finland
