Nudient replatforming to Shopify Plus from Centra

Founded in 2016, Nudient is a leading fashion tech brand for mobile accessories like phone cases, screen protectors, AirPods cases, laptop sleeves, and more. The Stockholm-based brand stands out with its sustainable materials and award-winning product design.

Background
Back when Pontus, Vidar and Max founded the brand, the trio decided to build the first iteration of their webstore on Shopify. Not quite yet fully developed to what it is today, they were soon growing out of Shopify and decided to migrate to Centra. In 2023, Nudient found themselves in a similar situation again: not only was the scaling of their business hard to manage, but most importantly the cost of upkeep was also an issue. Looking around, Nudient soon zoomed in on Shopify which had developed into a full-blown powerhouse of a platform. They partnered up with Woolman and together we embarked on a journey of migrating their business to Shopify and launching a new store on Shopify Plus in 3 months.

Migration project

Building on Woolman's Taiga theme, Nudient brand expression got updated without sacrificing any designs or functionalities - to the contrary we leveraged the stable Shopify environment to make sure the customer experience is outstanding and overall interface beautiful.

We effectively migrated all data to the new environment and made a comprehensive tech and app stack review, using the best of choices in the Shopify ecosystem and Woolman's experience: just like with the designs, we put emphasis on keeping the app stack clean cut, using Shopify's out of the box features wherever possible: Klavyio and Gorgias were implemented from within the strong ecosystem.

To ignite Nudient's insights on customer behavior, product performance, and profitability, we introduced our data platform, Ellis. Ellis aggregates data from Shopify ecosystem apps, enables personalized marketing, targeted recommendations, examines product trends and profitability.

In Nudients new store, we also leveraged Shopify Markets and its new routing possibilities to its full potential, keeping management of a truly worldwide store simple. Finally, we made sure to tweak the product pages, collection pages and filtering system to support Nudients customers in their interactions with the brand.
