The role

You’ll work directly with our customers, listen to their hopes and convert them into requirements, ensure shared understanding of the developed solutions, and give status updates. Therefore, active communication skills are essential.

The other side of the role is to design and develop software applications, where the development work is done with AI-tools. This also requires an understanding of software architectures, functionalities, and information security, to successfully guide AI in the correct direction and to ensure high quality of the delivery. Also, testing and other quality assurance tasks are an integral part of the role.

What do we actually do and deliver?

We develop & deliver custom software and related services for our international eCommerce Brands and to our Payment Service Provider (PSP) customers, all in the Shopify ecosystem.

Usually, we start customer cooperation with the project phase and move smoothly to the continuous services mode. Our talented teams are working in a DevOps mode, and we aim for continuous improvement and a high level of automation. It is good to notice that even though the technical solutions are tightly linked to Shopify, our own application solutions run on technical stacks chosen and developed by us.

We already use several AI-tools in our development work, and we’re happy to hear about your experiences in this area.

Location: Finland

This position is available for applicants already residing in Finland. We offer remote and office working, you can choose whichever suits you best. We have offices in Jyväskylä, Tampere, and Helsinki to meet & greet colleagues in person. We work flexibly, with members collaborating both in our offices and remotely. We ensure you have the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in AI-assisted or AI-native applications development, and motivation to learn more in this area
3+ years of SW development experience with; JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js and React with TypeScript)
Serverless platforms and implementations (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
API / integration implementations
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

Solution-centric and proactive attitude

Experience from the Fintech is an advantage
Current residence in Finland
