As a Lead Consultant, you are the customer’s delivery and strategic counterpart, accountable for turning business ambition into executed outcomes. You operate at the intersection of project leadership, consulting through Wayfinder, and commercial ownership, working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams on high-impact Shopify Plus initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

 Implementation Phase – Shopify Plus Projects

  • Lead €100k+ Shopify Plus projects end-to-end (typically 4–8+ months) 
  • Facilitate discovery workshops (business model, operations, tech, integrations)
  • Own scope, backlog, budget, timeline, and delivery plan
  • Translate customer needs into clear user stories, priorities, and sprint plans
  • Coordinate and facilitate ceremonies (planning, reviews, retros)
  • Communicate across multi-layered organizations with many decision-makers
  • Align technical and commercial requirements to drive business outcomes
  • Leverage modern tooling (including AI-assisted workflows) to improve delivery efficiency and clarity

 Continuous Growth Phase – Wayfinder

  • Facilitate quarterly OKR cycles and support customers in goal definition and prioritization
  • Translate customer goals into actionable, measurable plans
  • Use Wayfinder to detect bottlenecks and recommend actions and produce monthly strategic insights report for customers
  • Coordinate internal delivery team: resourcing, prioritization, and clarity
  • Lead routines: check-ins, monthly reviews, strategic roadmapping
  • Proactively challenge priorities to maximize impact and ROI
  • Commercial & Account Growth Responsibility

Profile

 Required Experience

  • 3–5+ years in project management, consulting, or delivery leadership roles in digital/tech environments
  • Experience leading €100k+ delivery projects (4-8 months duration)
  • Experience working with complex B2B or Retail organizations (strong advantage)
  • Strong command of PM fundamentals
  • Comfort operating with 5+ stakeholders, including senior and C-level decision-makers
  • Technical fluency: integrations, APIs, platform thinking
  • Knowledge & experience of the Shopify platform is a strong advantage

Location: The UK primarily

Our team works flexibly, with members collaborating both from our offices and remotely. This role is primarily opened anywhere in the UK. At the moment we currently have 3 employees at Woolman working from the UK and would like to strengthen our presence in this very fast-growing market for us.
